It's merely a recommendation on a personal level after twenty years coming continuously to the island and with the opinion of some very good judgment on the varied cuisine that can be found in Lanzarote.
GUIDES AND TRIPS:
In Lanzarote there are about 300 volcanoes (none active) and many of them can be visited after hiking through paths hidden from sight. They are a true natural spectacle and in their crowns you will achieve the best views from the whole island. Leave some time for one of these visits. The guide we recommend you is a superb photographer and have a deep knowledge of the island, in addition to his charming manners. You´ll verify the unique beauty of the spaces surrounding these volcanoes that cover almost the entire island. Do not miss this.
Any additional information about the island will be provided at the reception. Even so, these are some places, among others, that you should not miss: www.centrosturisticos.com. Monumento al Campesino, Cueva de los Verdes, Jameos del Agua, Mirador del Río, Jardín de Cactus, Montañas de Fuego in Timanfaya´s National Park, Castillo de San José, César Manrique Foundation, Famara´s or Papagayo´s beaches, o visit any of the many wineries at La Geria and the different paths at it. Towns as Teguise, which has a busy market every Sunday until 14:00. Or the town of Haría, known as the “The Valley of the thousand palm trees”, which also has its own market every Saturday morning. Las Salinas, El Charco Verde, Los Hervideros o El Golfo, at the southwestern of the island. As I said, these are only a few of the many beautiful towns and places of this exceptional island.
